Ramayana film music rights sold for ₹75 crore to T-Series

The upcoming Bollywood mega‑budget film *Ramayana*, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Yash as Ravana and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has secured a record pre‑release deal for its music. Both parts of the film's soundtrack were sold to music label T‑Series for an reported ₹75 crore, making it one of the largest music‑rights transactions in Indian cinema.

Earlier, theatrical rights were reportedly sold to Dharma Productions for around ₹250 crore, bringing total pre‑release earnings to roughly ₹325 crore. The film is planned as a two‑part release, with Part 1 slated for Diwali 2026 and Part 2 for Diwali 2027. A trailer is expected on 30 July 2026.
