Ramayana film set for synchronized worldwide release on November 5

The makers of the upcoming film ‘Ramayana’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, are reportedly planning to revise its release schedule. Instead of staggered dates for domestic and overseas markets, the film is expected to have a synchronized worldwide release on November 5, 2026.

Previously, the release was slated for November 5 overseas and November 8 in India to coincide with Diwali. The new strategy aims to capitalize on the long holiday period by releasing the film three days before the festival. This move reflects the producers' confidence in the film's content, deviating from the recent trend of releasing major films after Diwali.

In celebration of Ranbir Kapoor's birthday, a behind-the-scenes video was released, showcasing the production's scale and the actor's preparation for the role of Lord Ram. The video highlights the involvement of international professionals, including action director Terry Notary, to achieve Hollywood-level production standards. The film features a multi-star cast, including Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
