Ramayana epic film to debut trailer in New Delhi on July 18 and first look at San Diego Comic‑Con on July 23

The two‑part Indian mythological blockbuster "Ramayana", directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, will launch its first trailer on July 18, 2026 at a grand event in New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam. Cast members including Ranbir Kapoor (Lord Ram), Sai Pallavi (Sita), Ravie Dubey (Lakshman), Rakul Preet Singh, and Kunal Kapoor are confirmed to attend; Yash (Ravana) and Sunny Deol (Hanuman) have not been confirmed.

Following the trailer debut, the film will present an exclusive first‑look panel at San Diego Comic‑Con on July 23, 2026. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, producer Malhotra and director Tiwari will appear in Ballroom 20. The showcase makes "Ramayana" only the second Indian film to headline at SDCC, after "Kalki 2898 AD". The project, budgeted at roughly ₹4 000 crore, features music by Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman and is slated for theatrical release during Diwali 2026 (Part 1) and Diwali 2027 (Part 2).
