Ramdas Athawale challenges Uddhav Thackeray over government change claims
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has responded to comments made by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray regarding changing the government. Athawale stated that in a democracy, the power to change the government rests solely with the voters through the electoral process. He suggested that if Thackeray seeks change, he should pursue it in the upcoming 2029 elections, noting that India operates according to the Constitution established by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Additionally, Athawale addressed the political fallout from a stampede at a Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata. He accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of politicizing the incident and criticized attempts to blame the central NDA government for the accident. He emphasized that the focus should remain on the actual causes of such accidents rather than engaging in political blame games.
