Ramen chain Kairiki-ya opens new stores in Ikebukuro and Kichijoji

The Kyoto Kitashirakawa ramen brand Kairiki-ya is set to expand in Tokyo with two new outlets. The Ikebukuro West Exit location will open on 23 June 2026 at 1‑34‑4 West Ikebukuro, Kōei Building, operating from 11:00 to 27:00 (last order 26:45). A six‑day opening promotion offers ¥110 discounts on all varieties of the signature Kyoto back‑fat soy ramen.

A second store will open in Kichijōji near the station’s South Exit on 29 June 2026, occupying the former Wofuku‑ken site at 1‑3‑3 Kichijōji‑Minamimachi, First‑Floor, First‑Pass South Building. It will also serve from 11:00 to 27:00 (closed on holidays at 24:00) and feature the same menu, including the popular “yaki‑meshi” side dish.

Both branches are part of the chain’s nationwide network of 182 locations as of May 2026, known for its Kyoto‑style back‑fat soy broth, aged soy sauce blend, and specialty sliced char‑siu.
