Ramen restaurants in Japan announce new openings in Chiba and Tokyo, while a long‑standing Kyoto shop closes

Two new ramen establishments are set to open in June 2026. In Chiba Prefecture, "ramen case‑K" will relocate near Narashino Station and begin serving customers on 27 June at 11:00. The shop, which operated for about eight years in Keisei‑Ōkubo, is known for its simple, approachable fare.

In Tokyo’s Hachioji area, "Chūka Soba Mugisuke" plans to open on 25 June near Keio Hachioji Station. The restaurant will feature hand‑made noodles and a clear, chicken‑and‑pork broth, aiming to provide a everyday bowl for local residents.

Meanwhile, a historic ramen shop in Kyoto’s Nakagyō Ward, operating for more than 60 years and once favored by members of a well‑known local band, will close its doors on 27 June. Regular patrons expressed disappointment at the loss of the long‑standing venue.
