Ramiro Ferlatti to present medical memoir ‘Quirófano’ in Paraná

Oncology surgeon Ramiro Ferlatti will present his new book, ‘Quirófano’, on Wednesday, September 16, at 18:30 at the Auditorio del Círculo Médico de Paraná. Co-authored with Gimena Villarraza, the work has been declared of Provincial Interest and Municipal Cultural Interest.

The book is not a technical medical treatise but rather a collection of memories, anecdotes, and experiences gathered throughout Ferlatti’s career. It explores the human dimension of medicine, focusing on the relationships, decisions, and personal impacts that occur both inside and outside the operating room.

Ferlatti, a specialist in head and neck oncology, graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and trained for nearly a decade at the Instituto de Oncología Ángel H. Roffo in Buenos Aires before returning to his hometown of Paraná to become a regional medical reference.
