Ramiz Raja warns Pakistan cricket team of declining fan support

Former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja has warned that the national cricket team is losing significant fan support following a series of disappointing results. Speaking on 'The Overlap: Stick to Cricket' podcast, Raja noted that social media backlash has become a norm following Test match losses, leading to a decline in engagement.

Raja emphasized that while fans do not expect constant victories, they require seeing determination, competitiveness, and strong body language from the players. He argued that maintaining fan backing is a fundamental pillar for the team to become a great side.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan also observed a shift in atmosphere during Pakistan's tours of the UK, noting that the traditionally large segments of Pakistani supporters seen in previous decades appear to be smaller in number during the current series.
