Ramón Ayala performs at Feria Nacional Potosina 2026
Ramón Ayala and his group, Bravos del Norte, performed at El Foro during the Feria Nacional Potosina (Fenapo) 2026. The 80-year-old musician, known as the ‘Rey del Acordeón’, performed a repertoire spanning over six decades of norteño music.
The concert included classic tracks such as ‘Mujer paseada’, ‘Un puño de tierra’, ‘Baraja de oro’, and ‘Chaparra de mi amor’. Before the performance, a biographical montage highlighted Ayala’s career, including his early years with Los Relámpagos del Norte and the founding of his current group in 1971.
The event, supported by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, aimed to connect new generations with the legacy of traditional Mexican popular music.
