Ramón Orlando to celebrate 50 years of music with major concert

Merengue artists Miriam Cruz and Eddy Herrera have announced their participation in a major concert celebrating the 50-year career of Ramón Orlando. The event, produced by EW Shows, is scheduled for September 23, 2026, at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo.

The concert will feature a lineup of more than 60 Dominican and international artists. Miriam Cruz, known as the ‘Diva of Merengue’, praised Orlando as a master who helped internationalize the genre through his compositions and arrangements. Eddy Herrera, the ‘Galán of Merengue’, described Orlando as a legend and highlighted his significant professional impact as a composer and music producer.
