Ramón Oviedo exhibition opens at Autozama Museum
The Autozama Museum has inaugurated the exhibition ‘Oviedo, vigencia de un maestro’ to honor the legacy of the prominent Dominican artist Ramón Oviedo. The event was a collaborative effort between Autozama SAS, Mercedes-Benz, the Martínez Veloz family, and the Ramón Oviedo Foundation.
The exhibition showcases 51 works, consisting of 50 pieces by Oviedo—including paintings, sculptures, and drawings—and a tribute portrait created by his grandson, Omar Molina. Alongside the exhibition, the commemorative book ‘Oviedo Dibujante’ was released, featuring works from the artist's drawing collection.
The exhibition was curated by experts Amanda Martínez and María del Carmen Ossaye. The event was attended by key figures including Autozama SAS president Ramón Ernesto Morales, collector Mario A. Martínez Fernández, and Omar Molina.
