Ramo Isak faces indictment for security threats
The Zenica-Doboj Canton Cantonal Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak for the criminal offense of endangering security, as per Article 183, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The indictment was submitted to a judge at the Žepče Municipal Court for confirmation.
Isak expressed surprise at the charges, stating that he was actually the victim in the matter. He claims he had previously reported an individual for making serious threats against him and his family. Isak also noted that he reported the same individual for an attempted bribe involving the issuance of a certificate.
Reports indicate the case may relate to an incident at a gas station in the Crkvice neighborhood of Zenica. Additionally, Isak is facing a separate investigation by the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor's Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organized Inter-cantonal Crime (POSK).
