FMUP denies Ramo Isak transferred ministerial powers

The Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs (FMUP) has rejected claims that Federal Minister Ramo Isak transferred his ministerial functions or resigned from his position to a civil servant.

The Ministry clarified that a recent decision signed by Isak is a routine administrative procedure. The document authorizes Muhamed Ahmić to sign official acts only in the event of the minister's annual leave or other temporary absences to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the Ministry. FMUP stated that similar authorizations have been granted to other civil servants and were utilized by previous ministers.

The Ministry further dismissed media reports suggesting the move was an attempt to evade upcoming judicial proceedings related to the “Spengavanje” case. FMUP characterized these claims as “malicious assumptions” and “misinformation,” emphasizing that legal proceedings and potential court measures are determined solely by competent judicial institutions.
