Niall Darwen wins Mr. Olympia Classic Physique title

In the Classic Physique division at the 2026 Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, British athlete Niall Darwen claimed the title, upsetting the reigning champion Ramon Dino. Darwen, who previously finished 11th in 2024 and 5th in 2025, secured the gold and a $100,000 prize.

Brazilian competitor Ramon Dino, seeking his second consecutive title, finished in third place, earning the bronze and $20,000. Reports noted that while Dino showed strength during the preliminary rounds, he struggled with posing execution and muscle volume during the final comparisons, causing him to lose center stage to his rivals.

German athlete Mike Sommerfeld took second place, earning $40,000. The podium was completed by Wesley Vissers in fourth and Terrence Ruffin in fifth. Dino expressed his intention to analyze his performance and return for the next season, stating, “Today was Top 3. It wasn't what we were looking for, but we take responsibility.”
