Ramona Horvath launches KÖRÖSSY 100 jazz concert series

Jazz pianist Ramona Horvath is launching the ‘KÖRÖSSY 100’ concert series to celebrate the centenary of Romanian jazz master Jancy Körössy. The series begins in Bucharest on October 15, 2026, at the ARCUB venue.

Horvath, who was a student and stage partner of Körössy for over a decade, will perform alongside trumpeter Tűzkő Salamon, bassist Nicolas Rageau, and drummer Gabi Matei. The Bucharest event also marks the conclusion of this year’s Hungarian Jazz Days.

The centenary celebrations will extend to a series of concerts in four cities that were significant to Körössy’s career: Bucharest, Budapest, Prague, and Paris. In each location, Horvath will collaborate with local musicians to reinterpret his musical legacy.
