Construction is progressing on a specialized addiction rehabilitation center in the Escorial neighborhood of Ramos Arizpe. The facility will span approximately 700 square meters and is designed to provide voluntary recovery services for up to 80 individuals.

Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez Merino noted that the project aims to support not only the individuals facing addiction but also their families. The center will include 10 dormitories, a kitchen, dining area, infirmary, laundry, and administrative offices. To support a comprehensive recovery model, the site will also feature classrooms, occupational workshop areas, and an outdoor sports court.

The project is being implemented through coordination between the municipal administration and Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas to strengthen social prevention and community stability.
