Ramos Arizpe adds new wells to boost water supply

The municipal government of Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, led by Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez Merino, is expanding its water infrastructure through the Empresa Municipal de Agua y Saneamiento (EMAS). Five new wells—Minerva 2, Analco 3, DIF, CETIS and San José 5—have been constructed, with Minerva 2 and Analco 3 already operating to improve pressure and distribution in neighborhoods such as Cactus, Mirador, Analco and the CETIS sector. Work continues to integrate the remaining three wells into the system.

EMAS also maintains a permanent sanitation rehabilitation program, replacing drainage lines, repairing collectors and addressing collapses. Recent projects include work on the Jaime Benavides Pompa and Del Valle boulevards, the Sindicalismo intersection, and the central collector network.
