Ramos Arizpe announces Ramos Fest 2026 celebrations

The municipal government of Ramos Arizpe has announced the Ramos Fest 2026, a series of traditional events designed to strengthen local identity and customs in the Southeast Region of Coahuila.

On Friday, August 28, festivities will include a Callejoneada through the city center starting at 7:00 PM. Earlier that day, the Plaza Principal will host the Tamal and Pan de Pulque Fair alongside a queen coronation. The evening will conclude with a performance by Tropicalísimo Apache at the Plaza de Armas.

On Sunday, August 30, the traditional Cabalgata Ramos Arizpe 2026 will depart from the San Miguel Congregation. Participants can enter a raffle for prizes including a trailer and five saddles. Registration costs 200 pesos for entry and a box lunch, or 300 pesos to include a shirt. The weekend will conclude with a performance by Salomón Robles y sus Legendarios at the Alameda Miguel Ramos Arizpe.
