Ramos Arizpe Municipality Adds Five New Water Wells to Boost Supply

The municipal government of Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, led by Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez Merino, announced the addition of five new water wells—Minerva 2, Analco 3, DIF, CETIS and San José 5—to expand potable‑water coverage.

Through the municipal Water and Sanitation Company (EMAS), the Minerva 2 and Analco 3 wells are already operating, while the remaining three are under construction. EMAS General Manager Nicanor Aguirre Flores said the Minerva well will serve the Cactus, Mirador, Ampliación Mirador, Cañadas del Mirador and Urbivilla neighborhoods, and the Analco 3 well improves pressure and continuity for Analco, the lower part of Ampliación Santos Saucedo, the CETIS sector and part of the city centre.

Mayor Gutiérrez emphasized the administration’s commitment to “guarantee access to water” and to invest in infrastructure that meets the needs of a growing city, aiming to provide more families with a reliable and higher‑quality water service.
