Ramos Arizpe schools receive equipment under 'En tu escuela tú eliges' municipal program
The municipal program “En tu escuela tú eliges” in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, lets each school decide how to use public funds to improve learning environments. Recent deliveries numbered 60 and 61 provided the Miguel Ramos Arizpe Primary School’s morning and evening shifts with projectors, speakers, a multifunction printer, cabinets, a minisplit air‑conditioner and pedagogical materials, funded with an investment of 100 000 pesos per delivery.
Education officials highlighted the impact, especially for schools with limited budgets. The initiative, promoted by Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez Merino, has reached 61 deliveries and is presented as an innovative public‑policy model that strengthens educational infrastructure while respecting local school autonomy.
