Ramos Arizpe renovates Plaza Huanusco for local community

The municipal government of Ramos Arizpe has completed the renovation of Plaza Huanusco in the Analco II neighborhood. The project aimed to recover a previously neglected space to provide better conditions for community interaction and outdoor activities.

The comprehensive renovation included cleaning, weeding, the construction of concrete sidewalks, and the installation of synthetic grass. New amenities were added, such as a dinosaur-themed multi-child play structure, a palapa with a concrete bench, ten benches, and eight light fixtures. Additionally, four oak trees were planted to enhance the area.

Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez Merino stated that the initiative, supported by Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas, seeks to ensure public investment results in useful and enjoyable spaces for residents. Local families noted that the improved lighting allows for safer use of the plaza during evening hours.
