Ramos Arizpe strengthens support services for elderly residents

The municipal government of Ramos Arizpe, led by Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez Merino, is strengthening support services for elderly residents through the DIF Ramos Arizpe. The initiative focuses on improving the well-being, autonomy, and quality of life for senior citizens through various specialized programs.

Key services include physical rehabilitation to maintain cognitive and motor functions, psychological support for emotional well-being, and health orientation. The program also provides assistance with mobility and the distribution of food supplies.

Teresita Escalante Contreras, honorary president of DIF Ramos Arizpe, stated that the goal is to provide a close space for guidance and accompaniment. To promote social integration, the organization also organizes recreational activities such as music and social games.
