Ramos Arizpe will host the 11th NA-IN International Folkloric Encounter this Sunday, October 11, at the Teatro de la Ciudad. The event, named after teacher Brenda Edith Vega Zambrano, features artistic groups from five countries: Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador, Chile, and Mexico.

International participants include Latido Pampeano from Argentina; Soul Dance Colombia and Academia Artística Abilante from Colombia; Maquilishuat from El Salvador; and Sin Fronteras from Chile. Representing Mexico are the Ballet Folklórico Axkan from Monterrey, the host group Compañía Internacional Maseua from San Judas Tadeo, and groups from Saltillo and the Ramos Arizpe House of Culture.
