The municipal government of Ramos Arizpe, led by Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez Merino, has announced Ramos Fest 2026. The event is scheduled to take place from Friday, August 28, to Sunday, August 30, 2026.

The festival aims to promote local culture, gastronomy, and tourism to stimulate the regional economy. Activities include the Tamal and Pan de Pulque Fair, a traditional 'Callejoneada' through the city center, and the coronation of the festival queen.

Gastronomic highlights include the Lechón Fest 2026, a culinary competition held at the Alameda Miguel Ramos Arizpe where participants will be judged on the flavor, aroma, texture, and appearance of their dishes. Musical performances by artists such as Tropicalísimo Apache and El Poder del Norte are also planned.
