Ramp launches Canadian operations with new Toronto office

New York‑based fintech Ramp has officially entered the Canadian market, opening a Toronto office near Adelaide Street and Spadina Avenue and rolling out its finance platform for Canadian businesses. The platform now offers corporate cards in Canadian dollars and U.S. dollars, expense management, bill payment, reimbursements and AI‑driven automation of tax fields such as GST, HST, PST and QST.

Ramp is hiring a local team, including solutions and technical consultants and software engineers, to support customers across Canada. The expansion follows a $750 million financing round that valued the company at $44 billion. With more than 70,000 customers worldwide, Ramp will compete with domestic players Float and Venn in the corporate expense‑management space.
