Ramsey County police chase ends after high‑speed Lexus crash in St. Paul

A vehicle pursuit in Ramsey County, Minnesota, began about 11:50 p.m. on Friday when a black Lexus fled an unmarked Chevrolet Silverado on Interstate 694 near the Rice Street exit. The Lexus was recorded traveling at over 100 mph before it swerved, clipped another car and both vehicles ended up in a ditch. Two occupants of the Lexus were taken into custody: a 22‑year‑old South St. Paul man for fleeing and a 26‑year‑old Mounds View man on an active burglary warrant. No serious injuries were reported. The chase was streamed live by Undersheriff Mike Martin, who was driving the patrol vehicle.

The incident remains under investigation by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office.
