Rana Tutcuoğlu appointed General Manager of Sabancı Foundation

Rana Tutcuoğlu has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Sabancı Foundation. She will succeed Nevgül Bilsel Safkan, who has held the position since 2018. The leadership transition is scheduled to take place on September 14, 2026.

Following the handover, Safkan will continue to support the foundation as an Advisor to the Board of Trustees. Güler Sabancı, Chair of the Sabancı Foundation Board of Trustees, expressed gratitude to Safkan for her leadership in advancing the foundation’s goals of equality and sustainability.

Tutcuoğlu brings extensive experience to the role, having held various responsibilities within Sabancı Holding and the Sabancı Foundation. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University and an MBA from Yale University. Her professional background includes roles at Arthur Andersen and EFG Istanbul Menkul Değerler.
