Ranbir Kapoor praises co-star Yash at ‘Ramayana’ event

During a pre-launch event for the upcoming film ‘Ramayana’ in Hyderabad, actor Ranbir Kapoor expressed high praise for his co-star Yash. Kapoor stated that he became a major fan of Yash after watching the film ‘KGF’.

Kapoor described Yash as a ‘cinema man’ who possesses a deep understanding of various aspects of filmmaking, including writing, storytelling, acting, direction, and production. He noted that while filming ‘Ramayana’, Yash was simultaneously working on his own home production project, demonstrating a level of passion that Kapoor has rarely seen.

The film ‘Ramayana’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, will feature Kapoor in the role of Ram and Yash as Ravana. The production is set to be released in two parts, with the first part scheduled for global theatrical release on November 5, 2026, and the second part arriving during Diwali 2027.
