India's Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) approved the trailer for the highly anticipated Bollywood film "Ramayana," starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram. On 15 July 2026 the board issued a U‑certificate, clearing the trailer for release.

The promotional video runs 4 minutes 15 seconds, and the CBFC’s website lists two versions: a 3D trailer of 4 min 15 sec and a theatrical trailer of 4 min. The trailer is expected to appear on digital platforms shortly, ahead of the film’s first part slated for release at Diwali 2026, with the second part planned for 2027. The cast also includes Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Yash as Ravana, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.

The approval follows earlier teaser releases, including an introductory video in July 2025 and a "Rama" teaser on Hanuman Jayanti. Fans are awaiting the full trailer after mixed reactions to earlier promos.
