Ranchi students march demanding fair JPSC and JSSC recruitment exams
Thousands of students gathered at the Jaypala Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi and marched to Albert Chowk, protesting alleged cheating and irregularities in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) recruitment exams. The demonstrators called for a CBI investigation, cancellation of the 14th JPSC exam, and a transparent, accountable hiring process.
The protest continued despite heavy rain, causing traffic congestion on major city roads. Participants accused the state government and political parties of neglecting youth futures and demanded that paper‑leak cases be halted immediately. The rally was described as non‑partisan, focused solely on safeguarding the integrity of the civil service examinations.
