Ranchos launches specialized housing project for older adults

In Ranchos, Buenos Aires province, a new housing project specifically designed for older adults is underway. Funded by the provincial Ministry of Habitat and Urban Development as part of the Plan Buenos Aires Hábitat, the initiative involves the construction of 12 apartments.

Each 37-square-meter unit includes a kitchen-dining area, one bedroom, a full bathroom, and a patio. The design prioritizes accessibility, safety, and comfort to support autonomous living and active aging. The project aims to eliminate architectural barriers and foster community connections among residents with similar generational needs.
