Ranczo revival to feature cast changes as original actors depart

The cult Polish television series ‘Ranczo’ is returning for a new season titled ‘Ranczo: Zemsta wiedźm’ after a ten-year hiatus. While many original stars such as Cezary Żak, Katarzyna Żak, and Artur Barciś are set to reprise their roles, several key cast members will not return.

Actress Elżbieta Romanowska, who played the character Jola Pietrek, confirmed she will not appear in the new episodes because she was not offered a return to the role. Despite her disappointment, she expressed fondness for her time on the production, describing it as a ‘fantastic adventure’ and a ‘life adventure.’

Additionally, Agnieszka Pawełkiewicz, who portrayed Kinga from the fifth season onward, will also be absent from the new season. Reports indicate her decision was based on dissatisfaction with the script. The upcoming production, directed by Wojciech Adamczyk, will feature a mix of returning favorites and new additions, including Daniel Olbrychski and Andrzej Seweryn.
