Randers FC signs defender Simon Stüker from Silkeborg IF

Silkeborg IF has sold 19-year-old defender Simon Stüker to Randers FC with immediate effect. The move comes as Stüker had less than a year remaining on his contract with Silkeborg IF.

Stüker, a right-back who has made six appearances in the 3F Superliga and earned 45 caps for Danish youth national teams, joins Randers FC to seek more consistent first-team football. Randers FC football director Søren Pedersen noted that the signing provides much-needed depth in the defensive line following injuries to other players.

The transfer carries a unique personal connection, as Silkeborg IF's sports director, Jesper Stüker, is the father of the player.
