Randers FC signs Norwegian defender Nikolai Hopland

Randers FC has announced the signing of Norwegian defender Nikolai Hopland on a four-year contract. The 22-year-old joins the club from the Dutch side SC Heerenveen.

Hopland brings experience from the Eredivisie and previously played for Aalesunds FK in Norway, where he progressed through the youth system to the first team. He has also been involved with the Norwegian U21 national team.

Randers FC football director Søren Pedersen described Hopland as a skilled defender with strong ball-playing abilities and a calm playing style. Hopland will wear jersey number 27.
