Randi Zuckerberg says AI agents can restore up to 30% of work time

At the Digital Enterprise Show 2026 in Málaga, former Facebook marketing director Randi Zuckerberg urged business leaders to view artificial‑intelligence agents as productivity co‑pilots rather than replacements. She claimed that AI tools can free up roughly 30% of employees’ working time, allowing focus on higher‑value tasks. Zuckerberg highlighted AI’s ability to deliver hyper‑personalised customer interactions, shifting communication from a one‑to‑many model to near‑individual campaigns. While stressing the commercial upside, she also warned that responsible deployment—addressing data quality, ethics, security and potential misuse—is essential for the technology to benefit society. The event gathered more than 15,000 international executives to discuss AI’s role in business transformation.
