Randstad reports strong third-quarter revenue and profit growth
Randstad has reported a significant increase in third-quarter financial performance, with net profit reaching 110 million euros, a 33% increase compared to the same period last year. Global revenue rose by 5% to approximately 6.1 billion euros, driven by an organic growth rate of 3.9%.
Regional performance varied, with North America seeing strong growth of 9%. In Europe, the Iberian region (Spain and Portugal) showed high efficiency, with Spain emerging as the group's fastest-growing market. While growth accelerated in Italy and the Netherlands, the company noted an increased contraction in France.
Underlying EBITA reached 211 million euros, exceeding analyst expectations. However, the gross margin saw a slight decline to 17.8% from 18.2% in the previous quarter. CEO Sander van ’t Noordende attributed the results to the ‘Partner for Talent’ strategy, utilizing digital marketplaces and agentic AI to drive long-term profitability.
