Randy James Langworthy sentenced to 99 months for child sexual assault

Randy James Langworthy, 43, has been sentenced to 99 months in prison by an Olmsted County Court following his conviction on two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Court documents state that the abuse occurred between June 2020 and October 2021, targeting a victim who was under the age of 12 at the start of the incidents. The charges alleged that Langworthy used sexually explicit videos and threats against the victim’s younger sister to facilitate the assaults.

Langworthy will receive credit for 117 days already served in jail and will be subject to 10 years of conditional release following his prison term.
