Randy’s Donuts to make UK debut with first location in Edinburgh

American doughnut chain Randy’s Donuts is preparing for its United Kingdom debut, with plans to open its first location in Edinburgh. A planning application has been submitted to the Edinburgh City Council for a site on Forrest Road in the city’s Old Town. The proposal includes exterior modifications, such as an illuminated logo. While an exact opening date has not been set, the company has indicated the site is ‘coming soon.’

Other American fast-food brands are also expanding into the UK market. Chuck E. Cheese is scheduled to open its first UK and European branch in late 2026, though a specific location has not been announced. Additionally, the chicken chain Raising Cane’s is set to open a flagship location in London at a former Angus Steakhouse site.
