Range Rover to launch electric GT SUV in Brazil by 2027
Range Rover has announced that the GT, a fully electric luxury SUV, is scheduled to arrive in the Brazilian market in 2027. This model represents the brand's first entirely new addition to its portfolio since the Velar was introduced in 2017.
Produced in Halewood, United Kingdom, the GT will be the first model developed on the EMA platform, an architecture specifically designed for electrified vehicles. The vehicle is expected to feature a sporty, coupe-like design with a lower body and a minimalist interior including digital displays and integrated ventilation.
While the manufacturer has not yet disclosed specific details regarding battery capacity, range, power, or pricing, the GT will initially be available exclusively as a fully electric model, with a hybrid version planned for a later stage. This launch is part of a broader portfolio renewal for JLR, which also includes the upcoming Range Rover Electric.
