GWM launches Haval H7 plug-in hybrid SUV in Brazil and Argentina

GWM has launched the Haval H7 in the Brazilian market, positioning the new SUV between the H6 and H9 models. The vehicle features a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) flex powertrain combined with Hi4 intelligent all-wheel drive technology. The system utilizes a 1.5 turbo flex engine paired with two electric motors, delivering a combined 370 cv and 77 kgfm of torque.

In Brazil, the H7 is being offered in a single version priced at R$ 261,000. It includes a 27.5 kWh LFP battery, providing an electric-only range of up to 92 km according to Inmetro. The SUV is designed for both urban and off-road use, featuring seven driving modes, a 220 mm ground clearance, and a mechanical rear differential lock.

In Argentina, GWM has also introduced the Haval H7, offering two different engine configurations: a 2.0 Turbo 4WD version and a hybrid HEV 2WD version, with prices ranging between USD 36,900 and USD 37,900.
