Range Rover unveils teaser for electric Range Rover GT
Range Rover has released its first official video showcasing the Range Rover GT undergoing final testing at the Nürburgring Test Center. The new electric Grand Tourer features a sleek, coupe-like silhouette and is designed to balance long-distance comfort with the brand's signature off-road capabilities.
Engineers conducted extensive road tests across an itinerary spanning from Brussels through Germany to the Nürburgring. The vehicle is built on an 800-volt architecture with a 100 kWh battery, offering a WLTP range of up to 658 km. To enhance the driving experience, the GT utilizes ThermAssist technology for intelligent thermal management.
Despite its lower center of gravity compared to previous models, the team emphasizes that the vehicle maintains extraordinary off-road performance. The interior is designed as a quiet refuge, utilizing air suspension, acoustic laminated glass, and active noise cancellation to ensure a relaxing environment for long-distance travel.
