Rangers close in on PSV winger Couhaib Driouech as Celta Vigo eyes rival bid

Rangers Football Club are negotiating a transfer for PSV Eindhoven forward Couhaib Driouech. An initial offer of about €7.5 million was rejected, and PSV is seeking €8‑8.5 million. The Scottish club is said to be preparing an improved bid while also discussing personal terms with the 24‑year‑old Moroccan international.

Other clubs are monitoring the situation. Dutch journalist Mounir Boualin reported interest from Red Bull Salzburg and Burnley, while La Liga side Celta Vigo has indicated it may make a counter‑offer, believing Driouech would prefer a move to Spain over Scotland. Rangers manager Derek McInnes confirmed the club remains active in the market for wide players, with additional targets such as Fares Ghedjemi and Jahnoah Markelo also on the radar.

PSV is already planning a replacement, looking at options in Austria, as the transfer window approaches its deadline.
