Rangers de Talca may add two signings after goalkeeper José Luis Gamonal injury
Rangers de Talca's first‑division B campaign could see two new players added after starting goalkeeper José Luis Gamonal suffered a suspected tendon injury in the recent match against Deportes Copiapó. Coach Ivo Basay described the injury as “gravísimo” and said the club may have to bring in a replacement goalkeeper because the squad currently has no senior backup.
If medical tests confirm a serious, long‑term injury, the team could promote a youth goalkeeper as a secondary option and sign an additional outfield player, possibly a creative midfielder, to fill the roster. Basay indicated that the decision will be discussed with the club’s manager and board. The final diagnosis is expected on Monday.
