Rangers face transfer setbacks with rejected bids

Rangers have faced setbacks in their late-window transfer efforts, including a rejected second bid for Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Amario Cozier-Duberry. The improved proposal, valued at approximately £7 million, was turned down by the Premier League club, which has shown no intention of sanctioning the winger's exit as he remains under contract until 2028.

Additionally, Rangers have withdrawn from negotiations for Frosinone winger Fares Ghedjemis. While the club had previously considered a proposal of up to £8.5 million, Frosinone’s valuation of between £13 million and £17 million proved too high, as meeting that figure would have exceeded the club's 26-year transfer record.

The club's search for attacking reinforcements follows the collapse of a deal for Couhaib Driouech from PSV Eindhoven, which fell through after Rangers expressed dissatisfaction with his medical results.
