Rangers FC targets multiple players ahead of transfer deadline
Rangers FC is actively pursuing several players as the transfer deadline approaches to address squad needs.
Negotiations are reportedly in advanced stages with RSC Anderlecht for Norwegian midfielder Thelo Aasgaard. The deal could involve a loan move with a six-million-euro purchase option and a significant sell-on percentage. Aasgaard, who joined Rangers from Luton Town last summer, has not featured in recent matches amid these discussions.
In defense, the club is linked to Motherwell left-back Emmanuel Longelo. Longelo is reportedly seeking a move away from Fir Park, and Rangers are looking for cover following an injury to Tuur Rommens. Longelo recorded eight goals and four assists during his debut season in the Scottish Premiership.
Additionally, Rangers are monitoring Ferencváros striker Lenny Joseph. The 25-year-old Haitian international is also attracting interest from KAA Gent and Feyenoord. A transfer fee of approximately €6 million is estimated to be sufficient to secure the forward, who has been productive in both domestic and European competitions.
