Rangers Talca signs Ignacio Mesías as fourth reinforcement
Chilean Primera B club Rangers de Talca completed its fourth signing for the second half of the season by bringing in 23‑year‑old forward Ignacio Mesías. Mesías arrives from Deportes Concepción, where he was on loan from Unión La Calera, and has previously played for Unión San Felipe, San Marcos de Arica and Deportes Melipilla, scoring three goals in 14 matches this year. The club had already added midfielder Iván Rozas, defender Lautaro Rigazzi and Uruguayan striker Junior Arias, using the three signings allowed by the regulations; a fourth slot authorized by the ANFP to replace Javier Araya remains available for a centre‑forward.
A friendly match that Rangers had planned against Santiago Morning was cancelled because heavy rain and poor pitch conditions made the game impossible. Rangers now focus on the start of the second stage of the competition, set for Sunday 19 July when they will face Deportes Antofagasta.
