Ranko Szuhanek to launch 'The Risk Assessment in Chess' in Timișoara
International Chess Master and economist Ranko Szuhanek will launch his book, 'The Risk Assessment in Chess', in Timișoara, Romania, on September 3, 2026. The event is scheduled to take place at the Politehnica University of Timișoara Senate Hall.
Published in June 2026 by Chess Informant, the work has already seen distribution in over 50 countries. The book utilizes an interdisciplinary approach, connecting chess decision-making processes with fields such as mathematics, statistics, economics, psychology, and risk management. Szuhanek designed the volume to serve as a tool for professionals including auditors, programmers, and managers who must navigate complex decisions under uncertainty.
