Ranpak and Element Logic partner on global packaging automation

Ranpak and Element Logic have entered into a global partnership to integrate automated packaging solutions into warehouse automation projects. This agreement expands on existing collaborations between the two companies, aiming to automate the entire process from order picking to final shipment.

Under the agreement, Element Logic will provide expertise in warehouse automation, software, and system integration. Ranpak will contribute technologies focused on the end of the fulfillment process, including automated box forming, closing, computer vision, and paper-based protective materials. A key feature is rightsizing technology, which automatically adjusts packaging to the dimensions of an order to reduce empty space, material usage, and transport volume.

By integrating Ranpak’s systems directly into the design of complete warehouses rather than as standalone solutions, the companies aim to increase packaging capacity and operational consistency. This collaboration also addresses the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) by helping clients reduce material consumption and improve sustainability in their logistics operations.
