Rantarata train services disrupted by track work
Train traffic on the Rantarata line is interrupted today, Sunday, September 13, due to track work conducted by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency as part of the Espoo urban rail project. The disruption affects HSL commuter services from Leppävaara westward toward Kauklahden, Kirkkonummen, and Siuntion.
During these disruptions, E-, U-, L-, and Y-trains will not operate. Replacement buses, including routes 211E, 211U, 213X, 248X, and 249Y, have been organized to transport passengers to stations or nearby areas. A-trains will continue to run between Helsinki and Leppävaara at 10-minute intervals during peak times, while H-trains will operate between Kirkkonummi, Siuntio, and Hanko.
Further service interruptions are scheduled for the autumn. One-day disruptions will occur on September 27, while weekend-long disruptions are planned for September 19–21 and October 3–5. Additionally, Tuomarila station is closed for renovations and will remain without service until October 4.
