Ranveer Singh discusses challenges of filming ‘Dhurandhar’

Actor Ranveer Singh has reflected on the difficulties faced during the production of the film ‘Dhurandhar’ and its sequel, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. Speaking in a Reliance documentary, Singh noted that the project was not easy to mount or execute, describing it as a challenging period for both himself and director Aditya Dhar.

Singh expressed gratitude to the Ambani family and Jio Studios for their support, stating that their backing was a “true blessing” during a phase when his previous films had not performed well at the box office. He noted that the team remained committed to the vision, hoping the ambitious franchise would “break new ground.”

Directed by Aditya Dhar, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ was released in March 2026 and saw strong box office performance. The film featured a cast including Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. Singh is expected to appear next in the zombie thriller ‘Pralay’.
